Printing PostScript Files |
|
Once the digital files are prepared and completed, another way to generate a press-ready PDF is to print to a PostScript® file first, and then use Acrobat Distiller® to generate the press-ready PDF file. For those of you not using Adobe® InDesign® or QuarkXpress®, printing a PostScript file and then using Acrobat Distiller with press-ready settings could be one of only a few options for generating a press-ready PDF for commercial print.
Select from the applications below for instructions on how to generate press-ready PostScript files for use with Acrobat Distiller.
Next: Print Presets & Styles, and Print as PostScript instructions.
To get to the next step, select one of the applications above.
Or, go to Press-Ready PDF to see all the PDF creation topics.
